You are not recommended to take your rental vehicle into East Jerusalem as theft and damage to the vehicle are not usually covered by insurance in this area. You are not allowed to take your vehicle in to the West Bank or Gaza, which are under the control of the Palestinian Authority.

Car rental in Israel does not usually allow travel outside of Israel in your vehicle. Vehicles are not allowed to travel into the areas of the West Bank and Gaza which are under control of the Palestinian Authority.

You are often able to travel unrestricted one-way within Israel with no charge for this service. One way international rental is not available.
