Security Checks
Due to security restrictions, passengers need to arrive at the airport 3 hours before their scheduled departure time.

Both the passenger´s luggage and the passenger themselves will be inspected by airport security staff using modern security equipment and methods. Separate security checks apply depending on whether the passenger holds an Israeli passport or a foreign passport.

Passport Control
After passing through security in the departure hall you will continue through to passport control. You will need to present your passport, travel documents and your form (completed on arrival to Israel).

Check-In
After passing through passport control you must check in at your airline counter. You will need to check in any luggage, apart from hand luggage. You will receive your boarding pass and your seat number for your flight.

Early Check In Service
If you are flying with El Al you will be able to use their early check in service. The desk is located next to the Central train station (Arlozorov) in Tel Aviv. You are able to check in your luggage up to 24 hours before your flight, reserve seats on your flight and receive your boarding pass. This will save you time at the aiport. Passengers who hold a foreign passport (including children and infants) must be present in person in order to use the early check in service.

A fee of NIS 30 applies to all passengers suing the early check in service and the fee must be paid in cash.

The early check in service is open between Sunday and Thursday between the hours of 2pm and 9pm, between 11am and 3pm on Friday and before holidays and on Saturday and holiday days between the end of the holiday and 11pm.
